Are you an organised and enthusiastic events professional looking to take the next step in your career?

Our client, a City based B2B Media Co is looking for an Events Manager to join a busy team and take responsibility for the planning and delivery of a varied portfolio of conferences and awards events, from initial planning and coordination through to live event delivery and post-event evaluation.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, working with clients, speakers, sponsors and suppliers, and seeing an event come together from start to finish.

The Role;

You'll play a key role in delivering a range of conferences and awards programmes, managing logistics, suppliers, speakers and stakeholders to ensure every event runs smoothly and delivers an excellent experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing events from initial planning through to delivery and post-event evaluation

Creating and maintaining event plans, timelines, budgets and project documentation

Managing multiple events and deadlines simultaneously

Sourcing and coordinating venues, AV, production, catering and other suppliers

Coordinating speakers, moderators, panellists, judges, sponsors, presenters and VIP guests

Supporting the development of conference programmes, agendas and event content

Managing the awards process, including entries, judging, nominees and ceremony arrangements

Coordinating event logistics including registration, room layouts, staging, branding and signage

Working closely with marketing and content teams to support delegate engagement and attendance

Ensuring sponsorship commitments and deliverables are successfully delivered

Taking a lead role on-site, resolving issues quickly and ensuring events run smoothly

Supporting post-event reviews and identifying improvements for future events

We're looking for someone with at least 2 years' experience in events, ideally within conferences, awards, corporate events, media or a similar environment.

Experience of conferences, awards ceremonies, sponsorship, event-management platforms or working with senior speakers would be advantageous.

Starting salary: Β£30,000–£32,000
