Are you an organised, enthusiastic events professional looking to take the next step in your career?

Our client, a successful City-based B2B media company, is looking for an Events Executive to join a busy and dynamic team. You'll play a key role in planning and delivering a varied portfolio of conferences and awards events, managing projects from initial planning and coordination through to live event delivery and post-event evaluation.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, working with clients, speakers, sponsors and suppliers, and seeing an event come together from start to finish.

  • Creating and maintaining event plans, timelines, budgets and project documentation
  • Managing multiple events and competing deadlines simultaneously
  • Sourcing and coordinating venues, AV, production, catering and other suppliers
  • Coordinating speakers, moderators, panellists, judges, sponsors, presenters and VIP guests
  • Supporting the development of conference programmes, agendas and event content
  • Managing the awards process, including entries, judging, nominees and ceremony arrangements
  • Coordinating event logistics including registration, room layouts, staging, branding and signage
  • Working closely with marketing and content teams to support delegate engagement and attendance
  • Ensuring sponsorship commitments and deliverables are successfully delivered
  • Taking a lead role on-site, resolving issues quickly and ensuring events run smoothly
  • Supporting post-event reviews and identifying opportunities for improvement

We're looking for an events professional with at least 2 years' experience who is confident managing projects and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Starting salary: £30,000-£32,000
