Are you an experienced IT leader who enjoys untangling complexity and bringing structure to fast-moving environments? We're looking for an Acting IT Manager to join our client on a short-term basis while they recruit permanently. This is a hands-on leadership role with real impact, an opportunity to stabilise, streamline and strengthen key elements of their IT infrastructure.
You'll step straight into meaningful projects, working closely with their CRM Manager and wider business teams to:
- Redesign and rationalise CRM roles and permissions — transforming a fragmented structure into a clear, secure and scalable framework.
- Review and restructure their Azure / Entra directory to align with business needs, including distribution and security groups.
- Lead a thorough clean-up of legacy accounts and outdated groups to improve governance and security.
- Help scope and support a SharePoint redesign project to modernise collaboration.
- Support the rollout of a new email signature and Teams branding solution, ensuring consistency and professionalism across the organisation.
You'll need:
- Strong hands-on experience with CRM permissions and governance.
- Deep working knowledge of Azure / Entra ID, including group structures and directory management.
- Confidence managing IT change in live environments.
- A practical, delivery-focused mindset.
- Someone who can quickly assess, prioritise and execute.
This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned IT professional who enjoys solving structural challenges, improving governance and leaving systems better than they found them. If you thrive on bringing order to complexity and delivering tangible improvements in a short timeframe, we'd love to hear from you.
