We are currently recruiting for an experienced Events & Courses Coordinator to provide temporary cover for a leading UK professional membership organisation.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the successful delivery of a programme of events and courses, working with internal colleagues, speakers, subject matter experts, suppliers and external stakeholders.
The Role
You will coordinate events and courses from initial planning through to delivery and evaluation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of a range of in-person, online and hybrid events and courses.
Working closely with speakers and subject matter experts to develop programmes, learning outcomes and event materials.
Managing event logistics, venues, suppliers, contractors and delegate requirements.
Preparing and managing event budgets, monitoring income and expenditure and reconciling budgets following events.
Supporting delegate pricing and identifying opportunities for sponsorship and exhibition income.
Maintaining accurate event and CRM records.
Managing delegate and faculty feedback and using this to improve future events.
Supporting awards, competitions and other projects connected to the organisation's learning programme.
Building strong relationships with speakers, partners, sponsors and other stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in event or course coordination, ideally within a membership organisation, professional body, charity, education or similar environment.
You will have:
Experience delivering events from planning through to completion.
Experience managing budgets and monitoring income and expenditure.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with external stakeholders, suppliers and speakers.
