Due to continual growth, we are recruiting for delivery drivers to join our great team in Lambeth, SE11. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with driving experience to join our loyal and experienced team and help us continue delivering our valued service, supplying our clients across London and the home counties.
About our business: Established in 2003, we are a professional tool hire & sales outlet, located by Lambeth Bridge, close to the heart of Central London. We are dedicated to serving the construction and related industries as well as the general public. With a combined wealth of industry experience, our staff are highly knowledgeable, well trained and dedicated to customer service. We aim to set a benchmark in industry standards.
Requirements:
- 25 years of age or older, with full driving licence
- Good knowledge of the London area (preferred)
- Tool hire experience (preferred)
- A desire to learn and expand product knowledge
- Good attention to detail and administrative duties
- Good attitude to work
- Desirable but not essential: Previous experience within the hire or construction industry
There is a lot to learn, so support and training are provided every step of the way, and those displaying the necessary ability and commitment will have every opportunity to progress. We have an extremely successful track record of promoting from within and staff with good length of service. All rates of pay will be discussed at interview and will depend on experience. Practical Skills:
- Basic electrical (12/24v)
- Basic electrical fault-finding experience, including PAT testing
- Experience in 2 stroke, petrol and small diesel engines
- Ability to service, diagnose and repair accordingly

- Be responsible for managing the ordering of spares and parts
- Be a strong communicator and be able to deliver instruction to others
- Be able to work to budgetary constraints

- Be able to manage delivery vehicles, maintenance programmes: booking servicing, MOTs, etc.
