We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager with 'hands on' experience, to lead and manage a talented team of automotive technical professionals. Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of automotive technical staff, ensuring they are adequately resourced and skilled to meet Company and customer objectives.
- Foster a high-performance, harmonized culture where achievements are celebrated, and underperformance is effectively managed.
- Ensure that operational performance consistently meets Company and customer KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Oversee store costs and margins, driving improvements where necessary.
- Maximise profit and turnover through effective resource management and operational excellence.
- Set clear objectives for each department, with planning and execution to ensure targets are met efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and deliver strategies that align with the Company's broader objectives, ensuring business goals are consistently achieved.
- Support the Company in achieving consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships.
- Plan and coordinate key merchandising activities, ensuring robust stock management routines are in place.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing technical automotive teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Hands on mechanical skills and experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of operational performance management and KPIs.
- Experience in managing costs, margins, and maximising profitability.
- Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
