Hippo is looking for a Client Operations Executive to provide vital administrative and coordination support to our Account Managers, Senior Account Managers and Client Partners.

This role is the operational backbone of our client engagements.

It's both internal and client-facing, and it keeps our accounts running smoothly through dependable, process-driven support.

Rather than owning accounts or picking up handed-off commercial work, you'll enable the account-owning team to stay focused on their clients - supporting onboarding, keeping project data complete, tailoring CVs, running compliance checks and helping produce clean reporting.

If you're enthusiastic, organised, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, you'll fit right in.

This role involves a lot of context-switching, so we're looking for someone proactive and adaptable who takes pride in supporting the success of the wider team.

Where this role sits: Client Operations Executive is the entry point into Hippo's Client Operations function, which supports the account-owning Commercial and Delivery team.

It offers a clear pathway towards Client Operations Lead and Account Management as you develop your skills and take on greater responsibility.

  • Role Responsibilities
  • Systems & Data Support (Kimble/Kantata)
  • Support Account Managers and Senior Account Managers in keeping their Kimble/Kantata data complete and accurate, running checks, flagging gaps and helping maintain data quality to a consistent standard.

Account owners input and own their own data; your role is to support and assure completeness, not to take on data entry handed over to you.

  • Support the integrity of CRM (Hub Spot) and Kimble/Kantata records across the accounts you support.
  • SOW & Pricing Support
  • Provide ad-hoc support with pricing schedules for new SOWs and contracts, ensuring commercial details are correctly captured.
  • Provide SOW support and cover for Account Managers, Senior Account Managers and Client Partners where required.
  • Compliance & IR35
  • Manage IR35 checks for contractors, ensuring we remain compliant and that all assessments are completed diligently and on time.
  • Support wider compliance administration relating to onboarding and engagement.
  • Resourcing & Onboarding Administration
  • Drive process-driven administration for new and existing projects, including CV tailoring in Flowcase, security clearances and onboarding forms.
  • Support the coordination of onboarding activity with Resourcing, Delivery and the account-owning team so start dates, checks and approvals are completed on schedule.
  • Support with Social Value administration - gathering and collating evidence of delivered commitments so it can be reported to clients accurately and on time.
  • Reporting & Financial Analysis Support
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis and financial forecasts to provide the data needed for client discussions, utilising Power BI.
  • Support the preparation of monthly account and client reports on behalf of the account-owning team.
  • Coordination & Cross-Sector Support
  • Provide ad-hoc client communications support and cover where required.
  • Support the other Client Operations Executives and the wider department to ensure smooth day-to-day running across accounts.

About You

We aren't looking for a list of certificates. We're looking for a proactive professional who can work independently and take genuine ownership of their workload.

Essential

  • A logical, common-sense approach to problem-solving and a passion for finding solutions.
  • Independence and initiative - comfortable managing your own diary and delivering high levels of service without being micro-managed.
  • Adaptability: the ability to context-switch effectively and stay organised when priorities shift mid-day.
  • Technical proficiency with CRM or PSA tools.
  • Previous experience in an account executive, operations or similar administrative/coordination role.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly regarding pricing schedules, IR35 compliance and data quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across the wider Hippo team.

Desirable

  • Experience with Kimble/Kantata and Hub Spot, especially in an Admin capacity.
  • Other Requirements
  • Willingness to travel nationally to Hippo offices and sometimes client sites when required.
