We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Social Worker to join our agency team on a flexible assignment basis. This role involves supporting individuals, families, and communities by assessing needs, safeguarding wellbeing, and coordinating appropriate interventions and support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out assessments of individuals and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Develop, implement, and review care and support plans.
  • Safeguard vulnerable adults and children in line with current procedures and legislation.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and partner agencies.
  • Attend meetings, reviews, and case conferences as required.
  • Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for service users.
  • Manage caseloads effectively while prioritising urgent and complex cases.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration.
  • Previous experience within social work settings.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work environments and caseloads.
