We are seeking a CAD Technician on behalf of our client to join their growing team due to continued growth and increased project demand. This role will involve producing detailed technical drawings and 3D models across a variety of projects, supporting the wider design and delivery team.
This position is suited to someone with existing industry experience who is confident working with AutoCAD and Revit and is looking to develop further within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities- Producing accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD
- Developing and updating 3D models using Revit
- Interpreting design briefs and producing technical drawings
- Amending and revising drawings in line with project requirements
- Supporting project teams with technical drawing output
- Ensuring all outputs meet internal and client standards
- 2–5 years’ experience as a CAD Technician or similar position
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience using Revit (preferred)
- Knowledge of SketchUp or similar 3D software (desirable)
- Background in construction, architecture, building services or similar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
