About the Company

A fantastic opportunity has become available at Hippo Motor Group as we are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to be responsible for our used car sales division based in our Blackburn showroom. Hippo is a multimillion-pound family-run business that specialises in offering tailor-made finance options to suit all our customer needs. We are serious about what we do and being the best, but we always ensure we have fun as we do it. This is reflected in our extremely low staff turnover rate. As a result of our success, Hippo is constantly developing and growing, so this is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of this growth and work in a brand new showroom.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is dynamic and innovative to motivate and drive the team of Sales Executives to achieve their targets. Not only will the successful candidate have access to over 1000 cars, but there is also a fantastic support system in place with a state-of-the-art preparation centre, and dedicated pay-out, underwriting and handover teams. There is also a specialist buying team with the opportunity to buy your own cars, making the role ideal for any experienced sales manager.

Responsibilities

  • Setting clear and consistent goals and monitoring team/individual performance.
  • Conducting weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews for each team member.
  • Providing team direction and motivation that engages your team and helps them understand their purpose within the business.
  • Identifying knowledge gaps and providing on-the-job training where necessary.
  • Managing/monitoring our CRM system and enquiries to ensure the workflow is managed effectively to maximise each opportunity.
  • Supporting individuals in deal making and closing deals.
  • Maintaining communication with your team to ensure leads are correctly managed.
  • Ensuring Team Members are following all Company rules and processes, adhering to all compliances, and managing the Staff to operate within the FCA guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Previous management experience in a similar role is essential.
