Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly valet sold and stock vehicles, ensuring they are cleaned and prepared to showroom standards.
- Reclean stock and pitch vehicles when necessary.
- Perform single-stage machine polishing to restore paint finishes and remove minor defects.
- Apply specialist paint protection coatings to protect the vehicle’s exterior.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure the quality of work is consistent across all vehicles.
- Ensure pitch vehicles are presented to a high standard.
- Ensure that all tools, equipment, and workspaces are kept clean and in good condition.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines, ensuring all vehicles are ready for delivery or collection on time.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete any other duties related to vehicle preparation as required.
- Driving vehicles between Hippo compounds and buildings.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in vehicle valeting and machine polishing.
- Knowledge and experience in applying paint protection coatings.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong team player with good communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
