Hippo Motor Group is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Vehicle Prep Manager to oversee all operations within Vehicle Preparation at our Peterborough site. This role involves managing efficient workflow from initial inspection to final handover, requiring a background in vehicle prep to successfully lead and develop a team of mechanical, body, and paint technicians to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing Vehicle Preparation for the site
- Ensuring quality of prep production
- Overseeing site security
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, working with our H&S consultant to implement necessary changes
- Managing holidays, absences, and overtime
- Maintaining work rates aligned with company objectives
- Following all company procedures and adhering to FCA rules and guidelines
- Fostering respectful workplace relationships
