You will act as a Senior Consultant to deliver Full Stack Development services to our clients. The Senior Full Stack Node Developer will be a key player and implementer in this mission. Your Role in a NutshellLead the production of user-centred software, ensuring development is based on business requirements and follows best practice. Take ownership of software development and deployment pipelines, resolving issues and potential bottlenecks before they occur. Mentor other engineers and support consultants in their professional development through coaching and guidance. js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. Advanced full stack skills across the front end (React/Next.js) and back end (Node/Express).Proficiency in agile methods and using techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, and TDD.Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloudformation) and public cloud architecture (AWS or Azure).Proficient in CI/CD tools and automated testing strategies. We're on the lookout for top talent nationwide but you need to be located within reasonable travelling distance from one of our offices. Given the dynamic nature of a consulting business, you may be required to work on-site at a Hippo office or at an in/out of town client location for a number of days per week (client dependent) and therefore candidates will need to be open/flexible to travel and working on one of those sites at least 2 days per week.
