About The Role
Hippo is recruiting for Intermediate Delivery Managers to join our growing consultancy. Delivery Managers work with our clients to embed agile ways of working and support multi-disciplined teams to focus on priorities to deliver products or services. You’ll manage ceremonies aligned to Scrum methodology, including daily sync meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and \'show and tells\'.
As an Intermediate Consultant, specialising in Delivery, you’ll have experience in your field. Hippo offers opportunities to be part of a thriving delivery community, influence clients and team members, and develop your delivery management skills.
Please note, we are seeking candidates looking for growth at this level (intermediate). The advertised salary band is at the lower end of our full banding for this level, allowing for progression in the role.
Your role in a nutshell
- Work with a team in the Scrum Master role
- Help build and maintain motivated, happy, and collaborative teams
- Embed agile practices and run ceremonies like stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and show and tells
- Identify obstacles and assist the team in overcoming them
- Facilitate and track team risks and dependencies
- Help the team focus on priorities to deliver products or services
- Encourage continuous improvement within the delivery team
- Coach and mentor team members on agile and lean tools and techniques
- Build strong relationships with your team and stakeholders
- Manage internal client reporting
