Hippo is seeking a Product Delivery Partner who can strategically manage multidisciplinary deliveries and day-to-day commercial operations. This role demands a hands-on approach combined with a strong focus on product leadership, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction while supporting Hippo's long-term growth.
You will report directly to an experienced Delivery Partner and work alongside a broader team of delivery specialists. Your primary focus will be supporting and improving product-led deliveries across both public and private sector clients, making prior experience in both contexts essential. You will contribute actively to developing new business, refining delivery methods, and maintaining high standards of client engagement.
You will also work closely with Hippo's Heads of Profession, leveraging your expertise in one or more core disciplines to help define best practice and mentor emerging talent. This role includes 30% utilisation across projects under your purview and offers a clear path for growth and increased responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Lead product-focused, multidisciplinary teams across complex client projects, promoting collaboration and timely, high-quality delivery.
- Shape user-centred product strategies that drive successful outcomes for public and private sector clients.
- Continuously evolve Hippo's delivery and product methods in alignment with industry best practices and client needs.
- Identify client challenges and translate them into innovative product solutions that align with strategic goals.
- Strengthen client relationships and act as the primary escalation contact for delivery issues.
- Work closely with Client Partners to coordinate delivery and ensure commercial health across engagements.
- Support business development efforts by shaping product delivery approaches in proposals and bids.
- Review and advise on SoWs to ensure both commercial viability and delivery feasibility.
- Support complex bids, drawing on internal expertise to maximise success rates.
- Coach and mentor colleagues, particularly around agile product management and delivery practices.
- Support professional communities aligned to your area of specialism.
- Align with business development and marketing teams to support campaigns and account planning.
- Represent Hippo with industry partners and maintain relevant affiliations where applicable.
- Maintain a 30% utilisation rate across delivery assignments, offering direct value to clients through deep product and delivery expertise.
- Support experienced Delivery Partners in delivery assurance and commercial oversight.
- Extensive experience delivering product-led initiatives across both public and private sector environments.
- Demonstrated capability in leading multidisciplinary teams in complex digital projects.
- Strong commercial awareness, including financial tracking and margin management.
- Proven ability to interpret and advise on contracts, SoWs, and other commercial documentation.
- Excellent client management and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Hands-on knowledge of digital delivery processes, agile methodologies, and the full product lifecycle.
- Track record of guiding teams through ambiguity to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Familiarity with the Government and NHS Service Standard would be advantageous.
- Demonstrable experience shaping or delivering data-centric digital products with measurable impact.
