About The Role Hippo is recruiting intermediate consultants in UX design . UX designers ensure that people using a service can do what they need to do, when they need to do it, in a way that is easy for them. Working with user researchers, they identify what users need from a service and use that information to inform design decisions. Champions of user‑centred design, they work with other Agile team members to test and iterate designs, and advise clients on how to get the best from interaction design. As an intermediate consultant in UX design , you’ll come to Hippo with strong UX design skills and some experience of advising others on how to design user‑centred services. In return, we’ll provide exciting opportunities to develop further within your profession and as a consultant with clients. Hippo locations We are headquartered in Leeds and have offices across the UK in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Bristol. We\’re on the lookout for top talent nationwide but you need to be located within reasonable travelling distance from one of our offices which will be your contracted office location. Given the dynamic nature of a consulting business, you may be required to work on‑site at a Hippo office or at an in/out of town client location for a number of days per week (client dependent) and therefore candidates will need to be open/flexible to travel.
