Our client is a lovely, elderly lady residing in her own home in Carmarthen, seeking a friendly and caring companion to assist her with daily life. She enjoys the company of dogs and is looking for someone with a warm and approachable personality.

Job Description:

We are seeking a kind, reliable, and experienced self-employed female caregiver to provide companionship and practical support to an elderly lady in her home in Carmarthen. This is a part-time position for Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Your role will be to offer a supportive and friendly presence, as well as assist with basic daily tasks.

1. Providing companionship and engaging in conversation.
2. Assisting with dressing and personal care needs.
3. Supporting mobility and assisting with bathroom visits.
4. Helping with light household tasks and meal preparation.
5. Providing a friendly and attentive presence within the home.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a caregiver, ideally working with elderly individuals.
2. Must be self-employed and able to provide proof of self-employment status.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. A warm, friendly, and empathetic nature.
5. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
6. Must be female due to the personal care aspects of the role.
7. Must be comfortable around dogs.
8. Ability to handle light household duties.
9. Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
