Position: Care Assistant

Job Type: Part Time, Permanent

Location: Edinburg, UK

About the Role

We are now accepting applications from candidates currently on Student Visas (who have completed their CAS Course End Date), Dependent Visas, and Post-Graduate Visas. To be considered, you must have at least 3 months remaining on your visa at the time of application.

Schedule:

– 2-Week Rota:

– Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Working Hours:

– 07:00 – 14:00 and 16:00 – 22:30

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Biweekly Pay Schedule: Every Friday, fortnightly

Main Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
• Escort clients to appointments or social activities
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate personnel

Qualifications

• Own car and valid driver’s license (non-negotiable)
• Currently residing in the UK on one of the following visas: Student, Graduate, Dependent
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
