Reporting into the Service Team Manager, following a comprehensive training programme, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, repairs, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of hand equipment as well as semi and fully automatic end of line Packaging machinery.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to train on new machinery and stay with a business long term.
- Main Responsibilities
- Installation, repair of semi- and fully automatic industrial packaging machines and tools at customer sites
- Providing support and assistance for technical improvements, changes and troubleshooting at customer sites
- Providing training and ensure preventive maintenance to avoid mechanical and electrical breakdowns
- Be proactive and reactive in using the machines correctly
- Work with other departments you will receive practical and administrative support from our clients back office and technical service with regard to planning, orders, parts, technical advice, etc
Skills & Experience
- Ideally a qualification in Electro mechanics, mechanics, electricity, electro technics or similar
- Minimum 2-years experience in a similar field service environment
- Previous experience of working with EOL Packaging machinery will be a distinct advantage but isn’t essential.
- Customer oriented and problem-solving attitude with high sense of responsibility.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Computer literate (min. MS Office).
- Knowledge of programming a PLC, preferably Siemens, is an advantage but not essential.
- You must be based in the Midlands and due to the nature of this role have a full Driving License
