Our client is a leading provider of high-quality packaging, processing and weighing & inspection machines. They are looking to recruit a recent graduate with some commercial experience who is looking to build a career in sales. This is a great opportunity to work for a business that offers exceptional training and development.

The Person

Working in sales can be tough, so we’re looking for people who are proactive, tenacious, resilient, energetic, hardworking, strong communicators and above all self-motivated. Large elements of the role will require you to work remotely, so it is imperative you are able to remain focused and disciplined. We’re predominantly interested in candidates with a few years post-graduate work experience but still looking for their long-term career; however, all suitable candidates will be considered.

The Role

On joining the business, you will endure a rigorous training programme which will involve product training, process training at the head office in Bromborough, and one-to-one ‘on the job’ training from your line manager. Once you’re up and running, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Generating new enquiries by targeting customers in the food and pharmaceutical industries
  • Working to predetermined sales targets
  • Leading product trials and demonstrations at customer sites
  • Managing all aspects of account management
  • Daily reporting via CRM
  • Weekly/Monthly reports to line manager
  • Extensively travelling throughout the UK & Ireland visiting customers and periodically visiting the Head Office in the Netherlands
  • Attending trade shows when required
