We are working with a highly specialised engineering business that designs and delivers advanced thermal processing solutions for the food, beverage and FMCG sectors. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Sales Manager to take ownership of new business development, key customer relationships and complex solution-led sales projects. This is not a traditional equipment sales role. You will be selling engineered solutions, working closely with customers to understand their production challenges and then developing technically and commercially viable solutions in partnership with internal engineering teams and leading international OEMs.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage the full sales cycle, from initial opportunity identification and technical discussions through to commercial negotiation, project award and ongoing customer relationship management.

You will work with manufacturers across the food and FMCG sectors, helping them improve production efficiency, product quality, shelf life and compliance through innovative thermal processing technologies. Typical projects range from £100k to £2m+, involving multiple stakeholders across engineering.
