We are seeking a proactive Senior Business Development Manager with a background in residential real estate, ideally someone who has worked with property developers or within a development company. Based in the Manchester office, this role will focus on driving growth in the North of England while also acting as a mentor to the local sales team. You will engage with a range of clients, including large-scale property developers furnishing entire developments, as well as individual property managers and investors. Your expertise in the northern residential sector will allow you to identify opportunities, build strong relationships, and close high-value deals. Key Responsibilities: Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on developers and large residential portfolios in the North. Leverage industry connections to drive sales and expand market reach. Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure. Develop tailored business strategies to meet the needs of property developers and investors. Act as a mentor and provide guidance to the Manchester sales team, fostering a high-performance culture. Engage with clients via phone, email, social media, and face-to-face meetings. Collaborate closely with the residential and customer service teams to ensure seamless client experience. What We\’re Looking For: 2+ years\’ business development experience in residential real estate, preferably with exposure to property development. Strong network and relationships within the property development sector. Team leadership and mentoring experience. Proven track record of closing deals and generating revenue. Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
