As a Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering one of the UK’s largest and most complex nuclear infrastructure programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day construction activities within allocated buildings to deliver work safely, on programme and to quality standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and supporting trades to enable efficient installation sequencing.
- Manage interfaces with clients, contractors, subcontractors and joint venture partners to maintain safe access and progress.
- Ensure materials, plant, documentation and access strategies are in place at point of work.
- Monitor productivity, progress, risk and change, reporting performance and escalating issues as required.
Essential experience:
- Proven experience managing construction delivery on large, complex infrastructure or major building projects.
- Strong background coordinating multidisciplinary construction teams, including mechanical, electrical and HVAC works.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments such as nuclear, energy, heavy industry or major infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage interfaces across multiple contractors and delivery partners.
- A strong track record of safety leadership, quality assurance and programme delivery.
Qualifications:
- HNC or higher in a relevant construction or engineering discipline, or equivalent site management experience.
- Valid CCNSG or HSE MAPS Safety Passport (or ability to obtain).
- Professional accreditation is advantageous.
- The successful candidate must be a valid UK passport holder, with the ability to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
