An exciting opportunity has arisen for a paralegal apprentice to join our Legal Team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director People, Law and Governance, you will assist fee earners to deliver an effective and efficient legal service to the council, covering areas of law such as planning, property, litigation, and contracts.
The successful applicant will work towards CILEX Level 3 qualification. This role will be office based but there may be the option to work from home when it is suitable, upon agreement.

Paralegal Apprenticeship Course details:
- Damar Training will support the delivery of the Paralegal Apprenticeship.
- Content is delivered through specialist one to one coaching, group workshops and a variety of online resources and support.
- Damar have the only paralegal apprenticeship in England which incorporates O Shaped resources, aimed at creating more client-led, people-focused, and business-minded legal professionals.
- Damar offer a specialised learning pathway to support you in your role.

After this apprenticeship, we cannot guarantee a position following the completion of the apprenticeship, but we have an excellent track record of keeping our successful apprentices in the organisation. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and a successful appraisal of your performance, there will be consideration made for a permanent role, subject to availability.
There are also an exciting range of progression routes from paralegal apprenticeships. Routes include: Senior Paralegal Apprenticeship, Chartered Legal Executive Apprenticeship or Solicitor Apprenticeships and in related areas such as Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner.
