An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Customer Services Adviser. We require a candidate who is committed to providing excellent customer service. You will be friendly and diplomatic, with good communication skills and enjoy working with the public.
As part of a dedicated team, working in a highly pressurised environment, you will ensure the delivery of a first class and professional front line service either by telephone, face to face or in writing, including by e-mail or web chat.
As a first point of contact, you will greet visitors and handle a variety of requests, including complaints and complex enquiries about council services, including Housing Benefits and Council Tax.
Experienced within a customer service environment and educated to GCSE level or equivalent, you will be an excellent communicator and have accurate IT skills.
We operate a ‘hybrid working’ model with a mix of office based, home and remote working available when suitable. The contractual base will be office based with agreed flexibility to work from home or at remote working locations in the borough, once full training is completed.
