The predicted salary is between 25185 - 26403 £ per year.

Keeping our neighbourhoods clean and tidy is the number one priority for the residents of our borough. The Clean Neighbourhoods Service’s purpose is to ensure “Hinckley and Bosworth is a place with clean, tidy and litter free neighbourhoods where everyone takes responsibility for their waste and the surrounding environment”.
Start/finish times will vary depending on your workload requirements; however, flexibility will be required as you will be required to switch between teams when needed.
Duties include:
- Clearances of council and private properties: for example, the removal, safe transfer and disposal of furniture, garden waste, loft clearances, and the demolition of garages and outbuildings.
- Safe removal, collection, transport, and disposal of asbestos: for example, the dismantling of sheds, outbuildings, garages, floors, roofs; compliance with HSE, council procedures and risk assessments; correct completion of documentation to meet the Councils legal requirements. Training to be provided.
- Street cleaning: for example, the removal of litter, sharps, graffiti (using correct chemicals), weeds, fly tipping, animal excrement, dead animals, and fly posters in accordance with the Councils service standards.
- Bulky waste collections and bin deliveries: for example, the collection and disposal of large bins and items of waste e.g., sofas, mattresses.
The role requires a driving licence including C1 Category on driving license box van - up to 7.5 tonnes.
