Hims & Hers is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Research to lead and operationalize international insights work across the UK, Canada, and future expansion markets. This full‑time, six‑month temporary role will serve as the dedicated research partner for international growth, ensuring each market is informed by robust, localized insights that accelerate smart decision‑making.
You will design and conduct studies, shaping cross‑market learning frameworks, and partnering closely with the current U.S. Insights team to align global perspectives. Your work will directly influence product launches, messaging, brand positioning, and more.
About You:
You’re a skilled, hands‑on insights practitioner with deep experience conducting multi‑market consumer research and supporting launches across global regions. You understand how cultural nuance, market maturity, and regulatory norms shape consumer behaviors, and you know how to design research programs that bring these nuances to life.
You’re equally comfortable running qualitative and quantitative studies yourself or managing local agencies to execute high‑quality, culturally adapted research. You’re fluent in localization best practices, familiar with GDPR and other regulatory requirements, and capable of synthesizing data into clear, actionable insights.
You thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments and bring structure to open‑ended questions. You’re collaborative, curious, and energized by building something new.
You Will:
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research (surveys, interviews, focus groups) to inform global product launches, messaging, positioning, and ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate closely with Growth, Marketing, Product, and Comms to ensure research directly shapes strategies and market‑level execution.
- Partner with the U.S. Customer Insights & UX Research team to connect learnings across regions, highlight similarities and differences, and identify global opportunities.
- Ensure all research meets cultural and regulatory standards (GDPR, health category rules, etc.).
- Develop foundational frameworks that enable the business to scale international research efficiently – templates, processes, vendor guidance, and documentation for future markets.
- Own Brand Health Tracker synthesis for the UK and Canada, distilling data into executive‑ready insights and actionable recommendations.
- Advocate for the global consumer voice internally, ensuring international perspectives are represented in decision‑making.
You Have:
- 7+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, UX research, or global research roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi‑market consumer research across the UK, Canada and other global regions.
- Strong command of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, with the ability to manage studies end‑to‑end.
- Understanding of global/regional compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR).
- Proven ability to synthesize data into compelling stories for senior stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills; comfortable juggling multiple workstreams and markets simultaneously.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments and create structure and develop new processes.
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, or DTC is a plus.
Our Benefits:
- Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days.
- Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave.
- 401k benefits with employer matching contribution.
We are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging. If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you’re not sure if your background or experience is a perfect match.
