We’re Hiring: Meeting & Events Executive

Create memorable events and deliver outstanding guest experiences in the heart of Manchester.

If you enjoy building relationships, converting enquiries and coordinating both Meetings & Events and Groups, you’ll feel right at home at Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre.

We’re a busy 4-star hotel with 12 flexible event spaces, two stunning canal-side terraces and an unbeatable location less than five minutes from Piccadilly Station. We’re now looking for a Meeting & Events Executive to support the growth of our Meetings & Events business while also assisting with Groups enquiries and bookings.

What You’ll Do

Meetings, Events & Groups Coordination

  • Handle Meetings & Events and Groups enquiries from initial contact through to confirmation
  • Manage event and group details accurately, ensuring smooth handovers to Operations
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the planning process

Sales & Conversion

  • Convert Meetings & Events and Groups enquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Deliver confident and engaging show-rounds of our event spaces
  • Identify upsell opportunities to maximise revenue and enhance the guest experience

Event & Group Delivery

  • Support the planning and coordination of conferences, meetings, weddings, social events and group stays
  • Work closely with Operations and other departments to ensure seamless delivery
  • Maintain high standards of communication, organisation and guest care

Administration & Accuracy

  • Prepare contracts, function sheets and group documentation
  • Ensure systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner
  • Support the wider Meetings, Events & Groups team as required
