No matter what, you have the ability to smile the most welcoming smile and put the customer's needs first. You love being able to make each and every person's stay not only memorable but personal and you're able to do that because you understand the importance of the small details. You're a mind-reader due to your ability to anticipate what your customer wants before they even knew what they wanted. And a juggler – because you love change, confident and focused on delivering outstanding guest experience whilst overseeing a busy reception.
What will I be responsible for as a Receptionist?
- “Making Guests Smile” – provide a warm welcome, genuine care and constantly finding innovative ways to exceed guest expectations
- Checking guests in and out using Opera PMS, in line with brand standards
- Ensuring all guest charges are accurate and process payments in accordance to company policy
- Handling guest complaints in a calm and empathising manner
- Communicating and liaising with various departments in the hotel to provide guest with a seamless stay
- Actively promoting our loyalty program, IHG Rewards Club
- Maximising opportunities to generate revenue through upselling
- Performing reservation arrival checks

You will already be an established Receptionist with hotel experience who lives, breathes and sleeps outstanding service. You will be able to work flexible hours on a shift basis including weekends and bank holidays.
