About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands‑on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the day‑to‑day operation of our vibrant restaurant and bar at the Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre. Focused on casual dining, our venue offers a welcoming space for guests to relax, connect, and enjoy great food and drink in the heart of the city.
You will assist in leading a dynamic team, ensuring smooth service delivery across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events, while upholding our brand’s high standards and laid‑back hospitality ethos.
What You’ll Be Doing

Assisting in the delivery of friendly, efficient, and consistent food & beverage service across the restaurant and bars.

Ensuring guest safety and satisfaction by maintaining rigorous hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Supervising daily operations, including breakfast service and evening trade, helping the team anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations.

Leading by example, supporting team training, and creating a motivating environment where staff feel valued and empowered.

Building relationships with guests and encouraging repeat visits by delivering a warm, personalised experience.

Collaborating with the Food & Beverage Manager and Hotel Leadership Team to introduce new ideas and drive operational improvements.

Experience as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, or a strong background in food & beverage supervision, ideally in a casual dining or hotel setting.
