We’re a busy 4-star hotel with a vibrant Food & Beverage operation, including our restaurant, bar and events spaces.
We’re now looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team and help create memorable experiences for every guest.
- What You’ll Do
- Food & Beverage Service
- Welcome guests warmly and deliver friendly, attentive and professional service
- Take food and drink orders accurately and confidently
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to a consistently high standard
- Support restaurant, bar, breakfast and event service as required
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service throughout the operation
- Make recommendations and identify opportunities to upsell and enhance the guest experience
- Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest feels looked after from arrival through to departure
- Answer questions about our food and drinks offering confidently
- Respond positively and professionally to guest requests
- Resolve any issues quickly and appropriately, escalating where necessary
- Teamwork & Operations
- Work closely with the wider Food & Beverage and hotel teams to ensure smooth service
- Set up, maintain and clear restaurant, bar and event areas
- Support colleagues during busy periods and events
- Follow hotel procedures and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage, restaurant, hotel or bar environment
- Previous bar experience is highly desirable
- A friendly, confident and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences
- The ability to stay calm, organised and focused in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work across different Food & Beverage areas and shifts
