We are excited to be recruiting for a Manager, Destination Marketing UK & Ireland to join our team in Watford. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, creating, and delivering exceptional data-driven, solutions that drive competitive commercial advantage for our hotels and ownership groups within a specific region.
What will I be doing?
A key part of this role is executing the Destination Marketing and eCommerce strategy to support the defined region. You will:
- Deliver the strategy and approach for specific destinations, customer segments, and origin markets.
- Drive marketing and eCommerce activity to meet revenue and market share targets.
- Support in-market relationships with partners and DMOs to enhance the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Take ownership of measuring and reporting on regional performance, sharing insights with the UKI team and hotel-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with hotel-level destination contacts and central teams.
- Maintain and optimise hotel-level digital presence and performance.
- You will also support the delivery of the annual country plan and strategy, including offline and digital destination-specific campaigns throughout the year. This includes leveraging brand, enterprise, or partnership campaigns and adapting to evolving business needs.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing cross-departmental campaigns.
- Supporting the development of marketing plans as directed by the Director/Senior Manager, Destination Marketing.
- Managing resources and budgets for the region.
- Coordinating with relevant teams for campaign execution.
- Building strong relationships with local partners, agencies, and hotels.
- Acting as a liaison with Hotel Marketing and Regional Marketing & eCommerce Services.
- Delivering regular reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc) across the business.
- Creating and presenting destination performance reports and presentations (proficiency in PowerPoint and Teams required).
- Contributing to an entrepreneurial and agile team culture
What are we looking for?
- Experience in the hospitality industry (preferred).
- Well-rounded marketing experience, including digital and offline channels.
- Strong analytical and data-driven marketing skills.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in managing stakeholder relationships and reporting.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- Project management experience.
