Offering an annual salary of between £38,000-£40,000 plus an annual bonus structure.

An Operations Manager is responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel so that Heads of Department achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest satisfaction targets.

What will I be doing?

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel to ensure Heads of Department meet and exceed their revenue and guest satisfaction targets. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Work with the General Manager to manage key property issues (including capital projects and customer service)
  • Assist in developing meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and strategic goals
  • Provide effective leadership to the hotel management team and staff to meet targets
  • Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate service delivery across departments to exceed guest expectations
  • Ensure compliance with hotel and company Service Standards
  • Control costs and analyze results to address issues
  • Manage and develop Heads of Department for career progression and succession planning
  • Respond to guest feedback to improve satisfaction
  • Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the team

What are we looking for?

To succeed as an Operations Manager at Hilton, you should possess:

  • A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent experience
  • Strong commercial acumen, preferably with experience in Rooms Management or F&B service
  • Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting
  • In-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage teams effectively
  • Accountability and resilience
  • Ability to work under pressure

It would be advantageous to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems
  • Previous experience in a similar role
