Role Overview: The Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Executive will maximize revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences, and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.
What will I be doing?
As a GCE Sales Executive, you will:
- Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
- Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the team
- Manage an events schedule to maximize yield
- Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
- Participate in hotel promotional activities
What are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Have good organizational and administrative skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Be committed to delivering high-quality customer service
- Have a confident telephone manner
- Possess high IT skills
- Maintain excellent grooming standards
- Have previous experience working in a sales environment
It would be advantageous to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems
- Experience in the Conference and Events function
- Relevant qualifications, degrees, or certifications
