Job Description – Director – HR Technology EMEA (EUR015IQ) Job Number: EUR015IQ Work Locations Hilton – Regional Headquarters – Europe Maple Court, Central Park, Reeds Crescent Watford WD24 4QQ Position Statement As the Director of HR Technology, EMEA, you will lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Learning Management systems across the region. You will ensure these critical systems remain reliable, efficient, and user-friendly, providing seamless day-to-day support to meet the evolving needs of our workforce and business. From project execution to ongoing system management, you will collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align HR technology initiatives with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Position Summary Lead the implementation and expansion of Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Learning Management systems across the EMEA region to support business growth and evolving organizational needs. Act as a key business partner to regional and global stakeholders, ensuring alignment of HR technology initiatives with business priorities and regional compliance requirements. Oversee the ongoing optimization of HR technology systems, identifying opportunities to improve functionality, efficiency, and user experience. Manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates of existing HR systems to ensure continuity, data accuracy, and system reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, IT, and external vendors) to develop scalable solutions and drive the successful execution of HR technology initiatives. Provide strategic insights and recommendations for process improvement by leveraging HR system data and analytics to inform decision-making and enhance employee experience. Partner with global HR technology teams to align best practices, system integrations, and consistent processes across regions. Stay current on emerging HR technology trends, tools, and regional compliance requirements to ensure competitive and compliant systems. Serve as the EMEA subject matter expert (SME) for HR technology, providing guidance and training to HR teams and business users as needed. Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resources for regional HR technology projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Direct Reports: None initially, however, this role will require regular management of stakeholders involved in projects and working groups. What are we looking for? Essential Criteria Demonstrated success in leading the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems such as Core HR, Recruiting, and Onboarding, ideally in a multinational organization with EMEA scope. Expertise in navigating EMEA-specific compliance requirements and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and applying them effectively to HR technology initiatives. Strong understanding of HR processes, paired with hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g. Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone) and system integrations. Exceptional ability to partner with regional and global stakeholders, including HR, IT, vendors, and business leaders, to align technology with organizational goals. Strategic and hands-on approach to addressing challenges, optimizing systems, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Ability to manage change effectively, guiding teams through transitions and ensuring successful adoption of new systems or processes. Competence in leveraging HR system data and analytics to provide strategic insights and recommendations that enhance employee experience and organizational efficiency. Strong track record in managing complex, cross-regional projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and on-time delivery. Excellent communication abilities to provide clear guidance, training, and support to HR teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Aware of emerging HR technology trends and an innovative mindset to keep systems competitive, scalable, and aligned with the future needs of the business. Preferred Criteria HR operational experience HR Technology experience – Oracle HCM, Cornerstone, OASYS Experience working in multiple countries in the EMEA region. Required Qualifications Minimum Education: BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent or qualified to the equivalent level by experience. Management Experience (type): Experience in managing people, either directly or via project management activities. Additional Requirements: Ability to travel as required, including international travel and staying away from home for short periods.
