Responsibilities
- Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue.
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs.
- Plan and communicate guest requirements to a high standard to ensure the delivery of events (in hotels where no separate planning team).
- Handle enquiries via email and phone in line with training, including negotiation using the demand calendar and other pricing or diary management tools.
- Perform Delphi FDC entry to load information into the system using the correct SOPs.
- Carry out and manage activities accurately with maximum information in the system.
- Use and track sales promotions including XSELLS and KIITF.
- Close the deal to confirm business, using necessary tools to drive revenue/confirmations (e.g., concessions/show rounds and involving key stakeholders).
- Confirm business contracts with maximum information and necessary paperwork/payment, ensuring all planning information is captured for event delivery.
- Upon receipt of contract, make changes, update system, and ensure revenue is correct before handing over.
- Work closely with Revenue Manager, GCE Manager or GCE Director to build relationships that support conversion, engagement, and revenue drive.
- Attend daily huddles on event planning actions (in hotels with no event planning team) to communicate details in BEO for operations team to deliver successful events.
- Action quality audit reports from coordinators.
