We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Senior Meeting & Events Sales Executive to help create exceptional experiences for our clients and guests.
This is a key role responsible for managing meeting and event enquiries, building strong client relationships and supporting the successful conversion and coordination of business opportunities.
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Supporting the conversion and planning of large key events
- Support the team in the absence of management
- Manage meeting and event enquiries from initial enquiry through to confirmation
- Build positive relationships with clients, guests and internal stakeholders
- Prepare proposals, contracts and event documentation accurately and efficiently
- Conduct client showrounds and support sales activity where required
- Coordinate event requirements and communicate details effectively with operational teams
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries, maximising conversion opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and booking information within hotel systems
- Support the achievement of meeting and events revenue targets
- Assist with reporting and administrative tasks as required
- Help ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the booking journey
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience in sales, events, reservations, administration or hospitality is desirable
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
