You ensure and maintain a smooth day-to-day work routine within the Finance department, as well as the effective coordination and control of the month-end process. As an Assistant Financial Controller, you're not just ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Manage the Bank Reconciliation on a daily basis.
- Balancing PDQ, Bacs and Cash.
- Manage the Aged Debtors process on a daily basis, supporting the preparation of Sales Ledger invoicing, managing all Hotels Ledgers relating to Sales.
- Dealing with all Ar accounts ensuring all invoices paid according to terms.
- Support Income Audit Processes.
- Support Accounts Payable, preparation of Purchase Orders, Invoice processing.
- Support & Supervise daily Finance operations.
- Ad-hoc finance duties set by Director of Finance.
