About us... Connected to Gatwick South terminal, Hilton London Gatwick has 821 bedrooms and an exciting selection of restaurants and bars, including a Japanese Steakhouse. The hotel has a fitness centre and 23 meeting rooms that can host large conferences.
A bit about what you will do... Restaurant Managers in our stylish hotel oversee restaurant operations for the outlet, ensuring the team delivers warm, welcoming and excellent service that consistently exceeds guests’ expectations. Lead by example and foster team dynamics to ensure the team remains focused on meeting guests’ needs and brand standards. Monitor the performance of the restaurant through analysis of guest feedback and financial results, initiating corrective action as needed. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget. Manage budgets, reduce costs and maximise profitability. Communicate and enforce policies and procedures regarding pouring measures and age verification. Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to attract and retain guests. Work closely with the Head Chef and The Director of Food and Beverage to identify pertinent concepts and menu design for the outlet in line with brand standards. Conduct daily briefings with the team and attend daily Food and Beverage meetings with the leadership team to ensure a seamless guest experience. Manage staffing levels according to business demands. Address any guest concerns promptly, attentively and efficiently. Coach, train, and support the team to provide consistently high standards while continually seeking improvement.

Full understanding of financial aspects, budgeting and profit and loss. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs. Proven experience in managing, coaching, challenging and developing teams. Approachable and positive manner with a “can do” attitude. Ability to use initiative in challenging situations and under pressure. A smart and professional appearance. Proven track record in a similar position within a 4-star hotel. High standard of English, both written and spoken. Experience of working with brand standards.
