We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Relief Driver to join us on a permanent basis working 36.5 hours a week Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm and Friday 8am-3pm.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be working primarily in the warehouse in a multi-skilled role with duties within the various warehouse teams. This role will cover driver duties every Friday as well as when required – this may be as a result of planned or unplanned driver absence which will require an immediate response. Our Warehouse is a clean, tidy and pleasant place to work. We take pride in our workplace and ask you to share this pride. The products you will be working with can be delicate and expensive at times and your greatest level of care is required to ensure the customer does not receive damaged goods.
Operative Duties:
- Check incoming deliveries and paperwork and store away to allocated areas.
- Checking and packing of sales orders.
- Dangerous goods packaging.
- Processing paperwork on SAGE system.
- Carrying out warehouse checks and inspections, alongside stock checks.
- Meet department targets.
- Attend regular department meetings.
- Adhere to all company Quality standards.
