Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day: As an Assistant Night Front Desk Manager, you will oversee the night-hour supervision of the Front Office Team to ensure that Team Members are prepared and well-informed to deliver our Guests an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out. An Assistant Night Front Desk Manager is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Oversee Front Office operations during the night shift, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth hotel operations.
- Act as the main point of contact for guests, including VIPs, resolving enquiries, complaints, and emergencies.
- Complete Night Audit duties and ensure compliance with financial, cash handling, and credit control procedures.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Front Office team through training, performance management, and regular feedback.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, security, fire, and company policies through regular checks and audits.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, and departmental costs to meet operational and budget requirements.
- Deputise for the Front Office Manager and Hotel Management team when required, taking responsibility for the hotel overnight.
