Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Stores Controller to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world's most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day: As a Stores Controller, you will oversee the secure, accurate, and efficient movement of goods into and throughout the hotel. You will ensure all deliveries are received, recorded, stored, and issued in strict accordance with Hilton's purchasing, procurement, and inventory control standards, supporting seamless operational excellence across the hotel.
Your responsibilities will include the following, executed to the highest professional standards:
- Receive, verify, and distribute all goods and deliveries to the appropriate departments and storage locations
- Maintain precise records of all incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring full traceability and compliance
- Monitor inventory levels and identify slow moving items to support effective purchasing and cost control
- Raise purchase orders through the approved online procurement system in line with established procedures
- Maintain exclusive control of the hotel's central stores, including stock issuance, delivery coordination, and inventory counts
- Adhere rigorously to all health and safety procedures, with particular focus on food and beverage compliance
- Support Team Members, Managers, and the wider Food and Beverage operation through effective collaboration
- Deliver a consistently professional and service-oriented experience to internal customers and, where applicable, hotel guests
