Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Manage group, conference and event enquiries from initial enquiry through to contract confirmation.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, consistently achieving conversion and revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling, cross-selling and effective negotiation.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and overcoming objections to secure business.
- Arrange and conduct hotel show rounds to showcase our facilities and services.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure a seamless handover and exceptional guest experience.
- Manage event administration accurately, maintaining contracts, quotations and customer records.
- Contribute towards departmental sales targets and the overall commercial success of the hotel.
- Support promotional activities and represent the hotel professionally to grow future business.
What are we looking for? A Groups, Conferences & Events Sales Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and alongside other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate:
- A results-driven approach with a genuine passion for sales.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to maximize every sales opportunity.
- Confidence in negotiating, overcoming objections and closing business.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A professional and confident telephone manner.

- A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced MICE environment.
- Previous experience in Sales or Hotel Sales.
- High level of IT skills.
- The right to work in the UK.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience within Conference & Events or Hospitality Sales.
- Knowledge of Hilton systems or other hotel sales and property management systems.
- Experience working within the MICE sector.
- A qualification in Hospitality, Business, Sales or Events Management.
