Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in/out, and complete audit procedures as needed.
- Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Keep the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors appraised of feedback from guests and other departments.
- Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other product knowledge critical to performing daily duties.
- Improve room occupancy and apply up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
- Use accurate procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash in line with the hotel credit policy.
- Align with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
- Assist other departments as required, encouraging a collaborative environment.
