Are you looking for a unique and exciting opportunity in the hospitality industry? Look no further! We are seeking a Leisure Centre Supervisor to join our team at Thurnham Hall. Reporting to the Resort Manager, the main job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage a team of motivated and skilled employees to provide an efficient and effective Leisure Centre experience for our guests
- Ensure Health and Safety checks are done and adhered to at all times
- Recruit and onboard new team members where necessary
- Administrative duties
- Vigilance in checking and monitoring standards of cleanliness throughout the Leisure Centre
- Familiar with and able to train guests on the safe usage of gym equipment
Skills and experience required to fulfil the role include:
- Previous experience in a Leisure Centre environment
- Previous experience leading a team of employees would be beneficial
- The ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Have a ‘can do’ and positive approach
- Good / strong swimmer
The role requires the successful candidates to work 40 hours per week, including weekend and Bank Holiday work on a shift/rota basis. Own transport is required due to the location of the resort.
