Public Area Housekeeper in Carnforth

Reporting to the Head of Housekeeping, the main job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Working 7:00am to 1:00pm, 5 days over 7, including weekends and bank holidays as required.

• Cleaning and maintaining all public and communal areas of the resort to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

• Areas of responsibility include Reception, Kids Splashers, Restaurant, Sales Areas, Leisure Club, Staff Back of House Areas, public toilets, corridors, and outdoor spaces.

• Maintaining housekeeping stores, ensuring stock levels are monitored and replenished as required.

• Supporting the wider Housekeeping team as required with unit stripping and deeper cleaning tasks.

Skills and experience required to fulfil the role include:

• Previous experience in a similar role

• The ability to multi task and work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Good communication skills

• The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team

• Will be flexible and willing to help others

• Conscientious, hardworking and have a ‘can do’ and positive approach

The role demands 30 hours of work per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays, on a rotating shift basis. Own transport is required due to the location of the resort.
