Responsibilities

  • Implementing company statutory and legal requirements, including fire safety, health and safety, hygiene, and electricity at work, as well as adhering to all local by-laws.
  • Rigorously adhering to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (C.O.S.H.H) regulations, particularly in the storage of hazardous substances.
  • Responding promptly to all maintenance inquiries to ensure minimal disruption to guest services.
  • Performing maintenance repair work, ensuring the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn during all repairs.
  • Following planned preventative maintenance programs to maintain equipment and facilities effectively.
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers and contractors.
  • Successfully implementing energy conservation initiatives to support company sustainability goals.
  • Attending additional training sessions pertinent to the role to stay updated with the latest industry standards and practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a hospitality or customer-centric environment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and the drive to respond to maintenance issues promptly.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to adhere to them strictly.
