Your role:
You will work closely with the food and beverage leadership team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Hotel and the satisfaction of guests.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times
- Ensuring that all guests’ orders are taken and executed in a timely manner
- Ensuring that cleanliness is kept at the highest standards at all times in the Food and Beverage area
- Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu
- Responding to guests’ queries on the menu selection
- Communicating any guests’ questions on the menu, the length of wait and product availability
Previous restaurant or bar experience in a busy environment is preferred but not essential. Excellent personal presentation and a good understanding of food hygiene and health are required. You must have the ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision and possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach is essential.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
