What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a professional and experienced Production Trainer to join our growing Production team. As a Production Trainer you will arrange, support and deliver learning and development requirements in line with the HSF UK Learning and Development strategy. Support HSF UK sites to ensure colleagues are trained against all safety, legal and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities As a Production Trainer Will Be To:
- Promote the Learning and Development vision and associated activities as part of the learning culture of HSF.
- Delivery of key bespoke training sessions within a classroom and/or production environment (across all sites).
- Deliver bespoke interventions to ensure all new colleagues are suitably trained in relation to their role.
- Assist in the design of compliance and competence training.
- Coordinate and prepare arrangements for both delegates and the training delivery of internal courses/procedures.
- Role model Hilton Foods values and appropriate behaviours.
- Maintaining systems and collating procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall training delivery.
- Conducting departmental, systems and traceability L&D/Training audits.
- Maintaining accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities, ensuring that colleagues required to complete specific training are easily identified and followed up.
- Supporting Operations Managers, other Managers and Team Managers with all aspects of training related activities.
- Support all HSF apprentices (as and when required) and promote related apprenticeship activities across the business.
- Working closely with the other L&D colleagues and wider teams to ensure safety, legal and compliance training requirements are met.
- Provide on-site support for all external training providers, including any preparation and/or support during their time on-site (plus any follow-up/evaluation provision).
- Engagement of key stakeholders and delegates who impact the overall training strategy.
- To champion and uphold the standards and practices of the ETI base code within the team and wider business, report and resolve any situations that may arise in the work place where a standard is not being met.
Required experience/expertise to succeed as a Production Trainer will include:
- A good standard of education.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task effectively.
- Proactive, able to work well both under own direction and within a team.
- Able to communicate at all levels within the business.
- Has a basic understanding of training methods.
