KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and integrations across HR systems (e.g., HRIS, Payroll, LMS) and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Azure, Snowflake).
- Build and maintain scalable data models, warehouses, and ETL processes that support consistent, accurate, and timely people reporting.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and analytics stakeholders to define data requirements, improve data flows, and automate reporting processes.
- Design frameworks for data validation, reconciliation, and auditing to ensure high trust in people metrics.
- Contribute to the development of metadata, documentation, and master data definitions for people data domains (e.g., job architecture, organisation structure).
- Support HR and business analysts in accessing, joining, and transforming data for strategic projects and regulatory compliance.
KEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong technical proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI.
- Experience with HR technology landscapes and concepts (e.g., job hierarchies, organisational structure, HRIS architecture).
- Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data from cloud and on-premise sources.
- Familiarity with data modelling best practices (star/snowflake schema) and version-controlled development (e.g., Git).
- Ability to translate business data needs into technical solutions and document them clearly.
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance principles.
